How is baby's age calculated?

The calculator compares the date of birth you enter with today's date. The main result uses completed calendar months, followed by the remaining weeks and days. It also shows total completed weeks and total days, which is why an age expressed in weeks does not always convert neatly into calendar months.

The calculator shows completed calendar months. Because calendar months have different numbers of days, this can differ from simply dividing the number of weeks by four.
A week is always seven days, while calendar months vary in length. For that reason, an age expressed in total weeks will not always line up exactly with a calendar-month figure.
